DOL Disability Employment App Challenge Eligibility - Must Read

Hello Participants & Supporters,

Once again, thanks for taking part in the DOL Equal Pay App Challenge. Please be aware that in order to qualify for any potential prizes you must adhere to all of the official contest rules: http://disability.challenge.gov/rules including 508 Compliance - see below:

Section 508 Compliance: Contestants should keep in mind that the Department of Labor considers universal accessibility to information a priority for all individuals, including individuals with disabilities. In this regard, the Contestant is responsible for ensuring that all information computer technologies (ICT) deliverables meet or exceed accessibility and universal design requirements under Section 508of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Mobile Web Best Practices and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. In addition, the Contestant shall be prepared to present a Government Product Accessibility Template (GPAT) for each submission and report these findings to the selection committee upon request.

Failure to comply with any of the official rules will result in disqualification.
