Confused on voting and submissions process

I submitted an app for this contest yesterday and it is listed as under review. When I tried to look at the other submissions, none were listed even though updates mentioned that voting has been open for some time. When will submitted apps be reviewed and posted? Will I receive notification that my app was accepted?

    All submitted applications have yet to be reviewed or enter a public vote. That will take place once the submission period expires. Stay tuned.
